When you write about resurrection generically – “the celebrity’s popularity has seen a resurrection” – the word isn’t capitalized. When you’re writing about THE Resurrection of Christ, it must be capitalized. So significant was that event in the context of history, so significant is that to Christians worldwide, that even secular writing experts give it that respect.
