Notes

Satan always plants his imitations and fakes in the church to confuse people.

We are imperfect people trying to serve a perfect God.

We should always be seeking to live Godly lives and become more like Jesus!

The further we go in the Christian life, the further we realize we need to go!

A hypocrite is someone who deliberately deceives others, pretending to be something they’re not.

Acts 5 is the story of two hypocrites who found out the hard way that you can’t pull the wool over God’s eyes.

When Jesus walked this earth, He saved His most scathing words for the pharisees.

Better to be an honest sinner than a lying, hypocritical saint.

Satan comes like a lion.

In Acts 5, Satan comes in like a serpent.

Every time we see Barnabas (in Acts), he is helping someone.

“You have not lied to men but to God.” —Acts 5:4

Better to be a sinner and admit it than to pretend to be something you’re not.

Judas wanted to appear to be devout when he was in fact devious.

The Holy Spirit has come to show us our need for Jesus, but the worst of all sins and the only unforgivable sin is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
