The Best Is Yet to Come | Sunday Message

Released May 30, 2021 by Greg Laurie Podcast

All believers have a common longing for another world: a place called Heaven. In this Sunday morning message, Pastor Greg Laurie concludes the Book of Revelation with a powerful exploration on the glories of our eternal home. You’ll learn about the blessings of this book and how you can experience these blessings for yourself!

It’s the final message in our series, Revelation: A Book of Promises.

Notes
Heaven and the New Earth are a place of satisfaction.
Heaven and the New Earth are a place of sufficiency.

“The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations” (Revelation 22:2).
Heaven and the New Earth are a place of service.
Heaven is a place where tragedy turns to triumph.

“Joy is the serious business of Heaven!” —C. S. Lewis

The blessing is promised to those who read and hear the words of this prophecy (Revelation 1:3).

Reading Revelation energizes and excites you to know that God is in control.

The blessing is promised to those who keep the things which are written in it (Revelation 1:3).

Whenever you read about what the Bible says about the future, there is an exhortation to live a godly life (2 Peter 3:11).

We learn about the future to motivate us to live right in the present.

Why should we keep these words? Because they are faithful and true.

“Behold, I am coming quickly” (Revelation 22:7).

We must keep His word and we must do His work.

Our objective is not to conform Scripture to the changing culture, but to conform culture to Scripture.

“Surely, I am coming quickly” (Revelation 22:20).

There are two words in the Bible that show us what our focus as Christians should be:

The first word is come, and the second word is go.

The closing verses of the Bible make it perfectly clear that salvation is a matter of the will.

“Happy is the man whose sins are forgiven” (Romans 4:7).
